  • Joined as Executive Chef and then, through the position of F&B manager, got to the Prague Marriott as F&B Director
  • Took a step into top management when he accepted an offer for the position of General Manager of the Mountain resort hotel from the important Czech chain OREA HOTELS & RESORTS and participated in its rebirth
  • Became a general manager at Hotel International Prague

  • Was born in Macedonia, gained the bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management in Greece and the master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism in one of top ten schools, César Ritz University, in Switzerland.
  • A certified hospitality coach (CHT, AHLEI), a certified team development trainer (Belbin Team Roles) and a certified trainer, speaker and coach working on the basis of the methodology of John Maxwell, the world-famous leader.
  • Has been working in the restaurant and hotel business in seven countries (USA, Switzerland, India, Russia, Turkey, Greece and Macedonia) in such international hotel chains as Hyatt Hotels, Corinthia Hotels, Carlson-Rezidor Hotel Group and other individual projects related to hotel opening and rebranding.
  • Has founded HTI (Hospitality Training Institute), the educational online platform for the hospitality industry which specializes in individual training courses for professional of the industry.
  • Specializes in performance management, service improvement, team development and leadership, teaches a hospitality introduction course for the Master’s program at the Higher School of Economics and Novikov Business School.

Reputation manager at Aldemar Resorts

  • Started working in tourism in 2000, as a 3rd-year student at the Sochi State University of Tourism and Resort Business
  • After graduating, Alina started working in the Aldemar Resorts hotel chain as Guest Relations at Aldemar Royal Mare in 2004
  • After 8 years of work, Alina started organizing luxury and themed weddings in Greece (a completely new destination for Greece at that time) and other events, as well as MICE tourism
  • In 2015, Alina returned to the Aldemar family, where she still works, responsible for the reputation of hotels throughout the chain

General Manager at Radisson Blu Olympiyskiy Hotel, Moscow

  • Began his career in hospitality at the age of 14 by working in kitchens at first and then progressing to bars, restaurants and then Food and Beverage Manager at the best hotels in Ireland
  • Holds a diploma in Hotel & Catering Management from Griffith College in Dublin, Ireland, and the American Hotel & Lodging Association in Washington, USA
  • Joined Radisson Hotel Group for the 1st time in 2001 at the 5 Star Radisson Blu St. Helens Hotel in Dublin
  • Was promoted to his first General Manager position in 2008, at the age of 28
  • Was awarded ”Best Hotelier” at the MKG Worldwide Hospitality Awards 2014 for his achievements at the Radisson Blu Paradise Resort and Spa in Sochi, Russia
  • Moved to City Manager of three Radisson hotels in Norway
  • Was as General Manager of the Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, Copenhagen where he oversaw the full renovation of the hotel and established it as the first Radisson Collection Hotel
  • Became the leader of Radisson Blu Olympiyskiy, Moscow at the most challenging time in March 2020 and showed by his example that everything is possible

Founder at Nightlife University and host of The Nightlife Podcast

  • Saw the opportunity to build a business in the hospitality industry specializing in nightlife marketing and operations
  • Began as a night club promoter and built his name and brand to the point where he has co-owned a dozen different venues in Miami and even went as far as opening one in his native country of Colombia
  • Is also an author of the bestselling book The Nightlife Entrepreneur
  • Is the host of The Nightlife podcast which has over 75 episodes
  • Is the founder of Nightlife University where he is building a platform to help all of those who may feel alone like he did when first getting into the industry
  • His focus now is to help the new generation of Nightlife Entrepreneurs do better than his own generation and help preserve the industry by not leaving behind its most important part, the hospitality

 

MAGDY ATTALLA, Regional Director, B.H.M.S. (Business & Hotel Management School)

• A marketing consultant and an educator with over 20 years of teaching and consulting experience in prestigious Swiss Hotel and Business Schools as well as British and American Universities. He was an adjunct professor at SBS Swiss Business School, Florida International University, Schiller International University, IHTTI School of Hotel Management, IMI University Centre and Glion.

• Institute of Higher Education. In addition, he has over 15 years of managerial and marketing experience in luxury hotels, resorts and tour operators in the Middle East and Switzerland.

• He is a graduate of SSTH Swiss School of Tourism & Hospitality and holds a joint M.Sc. degree with the Imperial College of London. He is pursuing his Doctor of Business Administration degree (DBA) at Heriot-Watt University with a specialization in services marketing.

ALEXANDROS N. ANGELOPOULOS Managing Director of Aldemar Resorts, a leading resorts chain company in Greece.

• He has been active in the family business since 1995

• Up until 2017, he was holding the position of Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Environmental Policy Committee of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.

• In 2018 he was elected as the Ambassador of all 5 star hotels located in Crete and Secretary General to the newly formed Chamber of Hotels in Heraklion.

• In 2018, he became a Member of the Advisory Committee of the newly formed Sustainable Development Center of Governance and Public Law and a Founding Member of the Hellenic Council of Competitiveness.

• He is currently also holding the position of the Secretary of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association, Vice President of the Greek Eurasian Business Council.

• He is Member of the Business Advisory Board of the BCA College and Honorary Consulate of Ukraine for Peloponnese.

• He is Graduate of the PDP program of New York Cornell University (2008).
