He was born on October 13, 1968 in the family of an officer. He graduated from school in Severomorsk. He started his studies at the Moscow Aviation Institute. He served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR. Graduated from the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics.

Since October 2017, the five-star Moscow Marriott Hotel Novy Arbat has been headed by Cornelia, and since August 2018, Cornelia has been also in charge of the four-star Courtyard by Marriott Moscow City Center hotel.
Ms. Brinkman has more than 25 years of experience in the hotel business, 18 of which she held in senior positions at Marriott International.
Ms. Brinkman was born in Germany and began her career in the hotel industry in 1994 as an employee at the Best Western Delta Parkhotel Mannheim. In 1997, Cornelia took up a management position in the guest accommodation service, where she was responsible for the reception, concierge service and reservation department.
In 2000, Ms. Brinkman joined Marriott International in the position of the head of guest accommodation service at Frankfurt Marriott Hotel.
