Cornelia Brinkman has been appointed as General Manager of Moscow Marriott Hotel Group Novy Arbat and Courtyard by Marriott Moscow City Center.
Since October 2017, the five-star Moscow Marriott Hotel Novy Arbat has been headed by Cornelia, and since August 2018, Cornelia has been also in charge of the four-star Courtyard by Marriott Moscow City Center hotel.
Ms. Brinkman has more than 25 years of experience in the hotel business, 18 of which she held in senior positions at Marriott International.
Ms. Brinkman was born in Germany and began her career in the hotel industry in 1994 as an employee at the Best Western Delta Parkhotel Mannheim. In 1997, Cornelia took up a management position in the guest accommodation service, where she was responsible for the reception, concierge service and reservation department.
In 2000, Ms. Brinkman joined Marriott International in the position of the head of guest accommodation service at Frankfurt Marriott Hotel. After 3 years of excellent work, Cornelia was promoted to the Director of the department responsible for hotel room capacity and later to the Director of hotel room capacity and a member of the executive committee. Since 2010, Cornelia took the position of General Manager in several hotels in Kazakhstan and Russia. 2010-2013 – Renaissance Atyrau Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments, 2013-2017 – Renaissance Baltic St. Petersburg and Courtyard by Marriott Vasilievsky.
Cornelia was recognized for her leadership and achievements. Her latest awards include “Hotel of the Year 2011” (Marriott Executive Apartments Atyrau), Mustang Award 2010 (for personal achievements), Financial Excellence 2010 (Renaissance Atyrau), Market Excellence 2010 (Renaissance Atyrau), Excellent Guide2010 (Marriott Executive Apartments).
Cornelia Brinkman was also the chairman of the Russian Business Council.

On March 5, 2012, Andre Witchy became President of the Board of Governors of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, having worked here for more than ten years. Andre Witschi is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality, a member of the Board of restaurants of Saucolitos and a member of the Board of Directors of DEHOGA / IHA (German Association of Hoteliers and Restaurateurs). In 2008, he was appointed chairman of the executive committee of Steigenberger Hotels AG, a position he held until the group was sold in 2009.
Prior to that, he was Chairman of the executive committee of Accor Hotellerie Deutschland GmbH, Germany’s largest hotel group, which he joined in 1991 as director of Ibis Germany. Subsequently, he was appointed CEO of Accor in Europe. In 1996, he received the prestigious Hotelier of the Year award in Germany. He started his career in the Mövenpick group, where he was a regional manager of Cindy’s restaurants and a project manager in the restaurant business.
Andre Vitshi is the son of a restaurateur and a graduate of the Juventus Business School and the Zurich Hotel School. He also has two MBAs from GSBA in Zurich and the State University of New York.

Since 2015, when Martin became the GM of InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya hotel, the hotel’s income has doubled. The level of loyalty of employees and guests also increased significantly (employee satisfaction rate is 96%).

When Martin became GM of InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya hotel, bold and ambitious marketing projects were implemented, which helped the hotel to reach a new level. One of the latest examples is the transformation of the InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya hotel for the period of FIFA-2018 into the famous BUD-hotel. In addition, the system integrator BELTEL completed the first in Russia introduction of the ONEsquare interactive television system from at-visions in the rooms of the InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya hotel.
Mr. Eberhard knows hospitality industry inside out due to his 26 years of experience in the hotel and restaurant business, whether it is cooking, serving tables, healthy lifestyle rules or security in the hotels and restaurants.
Prior joining Renaissance Brand, he gained successful management experience at the hotels such as the InterContinental in London and New York, the Berners Hotel, the Carlisle Bay Resort on Antigua Island in the Caribbean, the Corinthia Hotel in Prague.
In 2013, Armin Eberhard has become a General Manager of the Renaissance Moscow Monarch Centre Hotel. Renaissance brand seeks to inspire and provokes guests worldwide to discover something completely new and different. The hotel holds business and charity events, organizes workshops for children from orphanages. In 2018, the Renaissance Monarch Centre received the “Best Congress Hotel” award.
